Nicole Butkus

Nicole is the recipient of a NHWGA Charitable Foundation Scholarship. She is completing her graduate studies in Biology at St. Anselm College. She hopes of doing environmental research. To attain her goals, she is spending the summer doing field work and learning research methods in Belize. Nicole participated in the 2024 NHGA Women’s Championship.

Lauren Bernstein

Lauren is a recipient of the NHWGA Charitable Foundation scholarship. A scholarship offered to a former member of the New Hampshire Women’s Golf Association, regardless of their affiliation with golf or New Hampshire. Lauren is pursuing a degree in chemistry at St Andrews. She hopes to become a forensic chemist. Her interest in this subject started when she watched Forensic Files with her grandfather and later, while taking advance chemistry courses in high school, she made the connection. Lauren was a competitive swimmer in high school and is now back in the water playing for the St Andrew’s water polo team.

Sophie Overbeck

Sophie is a recent graduate from Campbell High School in Litchfield NH. She has been accepted at the University of South Carolina majoring in Criminology and Cyber Policy. Sophie is a recipient of the NHWGA Charitable Foundation Scholarship. You may see Sophie swinging a club at Hidden Creek, Passaconaway and Haverhill Country Club. She chose her field of study as she is interested in learning more about human behavior, and the why people commit crimes specifically as it relates to cyber-attacks.

Lindsey Butkus

Lindsey is a 2024 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School. She is a recipient of the NH Women’s Golf Scholarship. She is pursing a degree in finance at Elon University, NC. Lindsey was a member of her high school golf team for all four years and earned several awards. She also plays golf at Abenaqui Country club.

Kiele Coleman

Kiele is a 2024 graduate of Methuen High School, Methuen MA, and is a recipient of the NHWGA Charitable Foundation scholarship. A scholarship offered to a former member of the New Hampshire Women’s Golf Association, regardless of their affiliation with golf or New Hampshire. Kiele is pursuing a degree in Health Science at Merrimack College. She decided on her major after suffering a series of injuries while playing softball in high school. She is interested in learning how the body moves and how injuries happen. She hopes to work as a physical therapist helping athletes overcome injuries and working with older people that are experiencing pain.

Olivia Colantuoinio

Olivia is a 2024 graduate of Brookline High School, Hollis NH. She will be attending Bentley University, MA, majoring in Health Studies and Macroeconomics. As a high school student, she initiated a project called Operation Aware. Raising awareness for preemies and their families. She advertised, communicated with hospital administration, and collected donations for Mother’s Day care packages for moms with babies in the NICU/PICU at Southern New Hampshire medical center. Her goal is to work in the health-care industry and to continue to develop her service project – Operation Care.

Eva Gonzales

Eva is a sophomore at Merrimack college majoring in Exercise Science. She is the recipient of the NHWGA Charitable Foundation scholarship. Eva is no stranger to the NHWGA as she participated as a youngster in the NHWGA Junior Championship from an early age straight through high school. She decided to major in exercise science because of injuries suffered as a golfer. She hopes to make a difference in the life of others that have injuries that interfere with their golf game and help them managed their injuries, help them get back on the course playing comfortable and to their fullest potential. Eva participated in the 2024 NHGA Women’s Championship.

Delaney Nadeau

Delaney is the recipient of the NH Women’s Golf Scholarship. She is a graduate of Oyster River High School in Durham NH. Delaney participated in NHWGA’s Junior championship, and continues to play golf at Cochecho Country Club. She plans on majoring in Psychology at Monmouth University. She chose psychology as to wishes to help support member of the community suffering from mental health issues. As a high school student, she along with other students hosted a Mental Health Matters community panel and then co-founded a Youth Mental Health team in her high school. Delaney participated in the 2024 NHGA Women's Championship.

Rylie Walker

Rylie is a recent graduate of Kennett High School, Bartlett NH. She has been accepted by Stanford University and plans on majoring in Environmental Science. Rylie is a recipient of the NH Women’s Golf Scholarship. She sees herself as beginning a career dedicated to protecting the environment, working to negate and ultimately reverse the effects of climate change. She wishes to focus on the health of the natural world as her everyday job, and is more than happy to devote my life to the preservation of the NH valleys and forests and beyond.

Olivia Oneil

Olivia is a recent graduate of Gorham Middle High School in Gorham, NH and has been accepted at the University of New England majoring in Physical Therapy. She is a recipient of the NHWGA Charitable Foundation Scholarship. Although Olivia only started to play golf as a Junior in high school, she quickly grew to love the sport and played competitively against other schools. In addition to golf, she played soccer, ice hockey and softball. She plays out of Androscoggin Valley Country Club.

Ella Graham

Ella is a 2024 graduate of Bishop Guertin High School, Nashua, NH. She is enrolled at St. Anselm College majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience. She is the recipient on the NH Women’s Golf Scholarship. Ella learned as a high school student how set goals – big and small - and to adapt her study and learning habits, to accommodate a learning disability. She took these same skills to the golf course. She currently works as an after-school teacher helping primary school students helping them learn how to deal with conflicts, and is an assistant golf coach at the Set Dichard Golf center and works with young golfers in the Little chipper program. She will continue playing golf at St. Anselm College. Ella participated in the 2024 NHGA Women’s Championship.

Mary Croteau

Mary is a 2024 graduate of Londonderry High School and is pursing a degree in international business at Stonehill College. She was awarded the Jean E. Lyons scholarship. She is a member of Derryfield Country Club, played for her high school golf team and will continue to play for Stonehill College. Mary believes that the best opportunities that life has to offer are found out in the world. To that end she wishes to explore and interact with other cultures through study abroad programs and internships.

NH Women's Golf Grant Application

The NH Women’s Golf Grant Endowment supports both organizations and individuals. The individual must be a resident of the state of New Hampshire or a playing member of a NH Golf Club. New Hampshire organizations may request funds to support events that promote women’s golf, that is, enhance their ability to play, compete, and learn.

NH Women's Golf Grant Endowment

The NH Women's Golf Grant Endowment supports both organizations and individuals. The individual must be a resident of the state of New Hampshire or a playing member of a NH Golf Club. New Hampshire organizations may request funds to support events that promote women's golf, that is, enhance their ability to play, compete, and learn.
